Every MABLE starts with the same two components as a classic espadrille — a rubber or leather sole and an upper hand-woven from silk or cotton thread — assembled by hand rather than machine. The woven top keeps the shoe light and breathable, so it performs well in summer heat while still holding up to daily wear. It's fully washable, and the colorwork carries a modern touch that local artisans have added to a much older shoemaking tradition. MABLE is made in a range of sizes for both men and women.
