Built from vintage, hand-sourced kilim, CHAVA carries the history of the original textile into a shoe where the pattern and colorway are entirely one-off. It's hand-woven on top, finished below with a leather insole and rubber heel, and lined soft enough to wear all day without socks. The last is womenswear-inspired and rooted in classic formal shapes, a bit higher and wider than standard, snug at first and stretching into a custom fit for medium-to-wide feet the way a fine leather shoe would. It's as at home dressed up for a holiday gathering as it is worked into daily outfits.
