Hand-spun wool, colored entirely with plant dye and woven into jajim cloth, forms the base of this small ASTA case — a traditional textile technique carried out by nomadic artisans rather than machines. Its geometric pattern was designed specifically for this bag, so it won't turn up again on another. A wide zippered opening and wipeable synthetic lining keep lipstick, brushes, and palettes organized in a 7 × 7 cm footprint.
